  1. LA MILLA

  One of our favourites is La Milla. La Milla is located on the famous Golden Mile in Marbella. This restaurant has the best fresh fish, as well as delicious paellas. It also offers a very extensive and special wine list. Enjoy a lovely day at the beach, as you can also rent lovely beds here for a luxurious beach day! Definitely recommended.

   

  2. CAPPUCCINO GRAND CAFÉ

  Cappuccino Grand Café Marbella is one of the more luxurious restaurants in Marbella. It is located on Marbella's beachfront. Cappuccino is particularly nice for lunch. Salmon salads and club sandwiches are highly recommended. But for drinks, you can definitely go here too.

   

  3. LA PLAGE CASANIS

  This restaurant is a real picture and is located in Elviria. La Plage Casanis is beautifully decorated and serves delicious food. You can also spend a whole beach day here on one of the beds and have a cocktail after a delicious lunch! Check in advance if there is a DJ, or another event. Also highly recommended with children, as there is all sorts of things to do in the water and on the beach.

   

  4. BIBO PUENTE ROMANO

  OK not directly on the beach, but still worth mentioning. This fine restaurant, Bibo Puente Romano, presents itself with the slogan: Tapas with a twist. We love that. The creativity of the chefs is therefore well reflected on the menu. For instance, you can choose from brioches, each consisting of more than three ingredients. In addition, the restaurant has the 'Raw Tuna Bar' and special #bibofamily dishes: carefully composed and something for every family. Bibo Puente Romano is ideal for dinner and drinks.

   

  5. DA BRUNO

  The next Italian restaurant on the list. Apart from good food, Restaurante Da Bruno also offers an evening of music. Da Bruno organises evenings where you can enjoy opera or soul music. Visit the restaurant's website to find out when your music evening takes place. Da Bruno has two branches in Marbella: Sul Mare and Cabopino. Both worth a try.

  6. MAMZEL FINCA BESAYA

  Mamzel Finca Besaya restaurant is the perfect night out: a dinner show makes for an unforgettable experience. In this beautiful location, you won't want for anything else. Just off Puerto Banús, you'll find this hip bar and enjoy good food and a cocktail by the beach. With ambiance and all, you'll have the perfect night out.

   

  7. SIROKO BEACH

  Another favourite, an authentic little bar in Marbella. At Siroko Beach, you'll enjoy good food and live music. Everything is very relaxed here and all with your feet in the sand. This restaurant is great for families with children. There is a garden, where they set up an air castle in high season, so the little ones can have fun too.

  CENTRE POMPIDOU MALAGA

  You can recognise this museum by its striking coloured cube and it is the first foreign annex of the museum of the same name in France.

  The museum has a permanent exhibition and changing collections. Definitely worth a visit!

  CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND

  At the port, there is a fun playground for children. Here they can run around and enjoy playing. Another tip for the kids: buy a bag of chips and feed the fish in the water.

  BOAT TRIP

  The first restaurant with a Michelin star in Málaga. It is a beautiful restaurant in the port of Málaga. It has a degustation menu with surprising, original and delicious dishes. Absolutely recommended. It is also possible to dine a la carte. Be sure to make reservations.

  Trocadero Casa de Botes
  A new restaurant in Málaga. A modern and beautifully designed restaurant and cocktail bar in the former boathouse. Enjoy a mix of oriental cuisine and traditional Spanish cuisine. Both the interior and the terraces are beautifully decorated. End the evening with a cocktail on the rooftop terrace and enjoy the stunning views.

  La Pérgola del Mediterráneo
  This is another new restaurant in Málaga and has a well-known owner: Antonio Banderas. Enjoy delicious Mediterranean food and atmosphere here in the port of Málaga. Delicious seafood and fine wines combined with sea views. What more could a person want.

  
  Cambara
  At the end of the pier is this restaurant. Expect tasty tapas and paellas here. But also good meat and fish dishes. Cambara is very nicely decorated and you can have a very cosy dinner here. Also be sure to try one of the cocktails here.

  Puerto Gourmet Malagueta
  This restaurant is not really in the port, but is still highly recommended. Just past the Hard rock café in the Malagueta district is this cute little wine bar. Eat delicious Spanish tapas here over a nice glass of wine. Locals love coming here and the service is always super friendly. Not the beautiful view of the sea, but definitely a special and nice little restaurant.

  SHOPPING IN THE PORT

  New shops are constantly being added in the port, making it really attractive for shopping now. There are the well-known shops like Kiko, Ale Hop and Miniso. But also some more luxurious shops, such as Lacoste, Hugo Boss and Pompeu. Last but not least: enjoy a drink, the beautiful view and the sunset at cocktail bar Nusa

  El Corte Inglés is the largest department store in Spain. It can be found in several big cities, including Málaga! The shop has many departments with many different products. Think of bags, shoes, clothes, jewellery but also household appliances, furniture and a supermarket. In short, everything in one!

  Centro Commercial Larios Centro

  Larios Centro Commercial is one of the most popular shopping centres in Málaga. There are more than one hundred and fifty shops spread over two floors. Apart from the wide range of shops, there are also several restaurants in this shopping centre. Furthermore, Larios has two floors with 1500 parking spaces.

  Plaza Mayor Málaga

  In Plaza Mayor Málaga, the shops are located outside. This makes it look more like a village than a typical shopping centre we know. There are more than three hundred shops in this shopping centre and a lot of restaurants to have a bite to eat. It is located on the outskirts of the city, close to the airport. You can reach it by public transport or you can come by car. You can then use the free parking facilities.
